Luster Lace Wrap
crochet pattern | $7.00 USD
Will also be available from Etsy and Ravelry.
The Luster Lace Wrap is inspired by the way light settles and catches on lace stitches, creating a soft, luminous effect across the surface. This interplay of texture and light comes to life through three distinct stitch patterns, each forming bands of floral and starburst motifs that flow seamlessly from one to the next for a design that feels both intricate and balanced.
The variety of stitch patterns keeps the project entertaining, while the thoughtfully written instructions, including stitch charts and helpful tools, provide the guidance needed to enjoy the process from start to finish.
Instructions for this lightweight wrap are given in two sizes, offering versatile styling and beautiful drape whether worn casually or layered for a more polished look. Crocheted in crisp linen yarn, the stitches are given space to open fully, enhancing both stitch definition and the fiber’s natural sheen. The result is a piece that highlights the quiet elegance of linen and the subtle interplay of texture and light.
How This Wrap Is Made
Worked in rows along the short edge, the wrap uses approachable lace techniques that build into a visually rich fabric with clean, structured edges. A simple single crochet edging adds the perfect finish.

Suggested Yarn Substitutes
This pattern was designed specifically for linen yarn, but feel free to substitute the fiber of your choice. Other plant-based fibers such as cotton, hemp, or blends of these will also work well and highlight the lace stitches. Wool yarns may be used, but keep in mind that smoother blends (such as wool-silk or wool-nylon) will show off the lace stitches more than fuzzy or lofty yarns. Because results may vary, crocheting a gauge swatch with your alternative yarn is recommended.

Gauge
Though exact gauge is not essential, for best appearance it should be close.
