crochet pattern | $5.00 USD

Also available from Etsy and Ravelry.

Why carry an ordinary produce bag when you can carry one blooming with flowers? The Bellflower Produce Bag crochet pattern features delicate lace leaves, graceful bell-shaped flowers, and a scalloped edge that turns an everyday essential into something truly beautiful.

Designed for advanced beginners and intermediate crocheters, the pattern includes detailed round-by-round instructions and a photo tutorial for crocheting a simple and attractive cord. Perfect for farmers markets, grocery shopping, produce storage, gifting, and sustainable everyday living.

How This Bag Is Made

• Bag is worked in joined rounds from the bottom up.
• The first 9 rounds create the base of the bag.
• With chains and double crochet stitches, alternating leaves and flowers begin to appear. Lace leaves and bell-shaped flowers continue up the sides of the bag.
• A scalloped brim is added with simple stitches, while creating the holes through which a drawstring can be threaded.
• Add a drawstring to ensure that your loose fruits and veggies stay put. Instructions are given for crocheting one quickly and easily.

Pattern is written in US crochet terms.
